Hydro updgrade work underway in east Toronto

Posted on Aug 2, 2016 by in Scarborough | 0 comments

Part of the aging overhead electrical system is set to be rebuilt in Toronto’s east end.

The repairs, which will help improve reliability, will be done in an area bounded by Murdock Avenue, West Lynn Avenue, Hanson Street, and Bastedo Avenue.

The work, which will involve upgrading overhead electrical cables and replacing hydro poles, began in late July and is expected to be done by late October.

Some power interruptions may be required. Toronto Hydro will provide notices beforehand.
