ONTARIO COLD CASE: 5 years on, no arrests in violent killing of 'lonely' senior

Posted on Dec 7, 2018 by in News, News/Crime, Scarborough | 0 comments

Raymond Darby, 72, was well-known in his neighbourhood, often seen walking with the aid of a cane, handing out biscuits to dogs and engaging almost anyone with time to talk in conversation. On June 18, 2013 a friend and neighbour found Raymond dead in his home. He was stabbed in a violent attack. The General Motors retiree was predeceased by his wife and daughters, and left little information about his life, which is making it harder for police to find his killer. More than five years later, the case remains open.
