Shooting at Toronto fitness class injures 2
TORONTO — Police are looking for a suspect after a shooting that injured two men during a Saturday morning fitness class in a Toronto park.
They say one of the victims is the 35-year-old instructor of the fitness class at Christie Pits Park.
Toronto paramedics say that man was shot multiple times and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Another man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after police say he was hit in the foot by a stray bullet.
Police say several calls about the shooting (at Bloor Street West and Christie Street) came in just before 9 a.m.
Investigators are looking for a male suspect described as black, between the ages of 25 and 30 with a thin build, and five-foot-eight to five-foot-nine inches tall.
