Toronto police arrest teen following gun-point and pepper-spray robbery in North York
A boy is charged with robbing two other boys using pepper spray and a gun on a street near the Don Valley Parkway and York Mills Boulevard.
Toronto police say a 16- and 17-year-old were approached by a third boy early on Saturday, July 30 as they sat on a bench on Fenside Drive.
The suspect pepper-sprayed the two boys at 1:30 a.m., and then pointed a firearm at them.
He allegedly took a wallet, cellphone, and necklace from the 17-year-old boy.
An hour later, police arrested a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, and charged him with robbery with a firearm, robbery with an offensive weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon and administering a noxious substance with intent.
