Toronto police search for female suspect after man stabbed outside North York hotel in apparent domestic dispute

Police are looking for a woman after a man was stabbed outside a North York hotel Monday, Aug. 8.

Police were called to the Comfort Inn at 66 Norfinch Dr. near Finch Avenue and Hwy. 400 for a fight in the parking lot at 11:25 p.m.

“Shortly after, it was reported that someone had been stabbed. Officers attended and they did locate a victim,” Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook said.

The victim, stabbed in the upper thigh and hip, was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition. Police believe this was a domestic-related incident.

“It is a female suspect who we’re looking for, and we know who she is obviously,” Douglas-Cook said.
