Police are searching for the parents of two three-year-old girls who were seen wandering alone on streets in Scarborough Saturday morning.

Police received a call just before 7 a.m. about two girls found on Flora Dr. and Porter Cres., a residential area near Kennedy Rd. and Lawrence Ave. E.

The girls are both wearing pink shirts, pants and sandals.

The girls appeared to have left their home on their own while their mother was sleeping, according to police.

Police say they are going door-to-door and canvassing the area.

This is the second incident this week where preschoolers were found by police wandering the streets by themselves. On Monday, a young girl between the ages of three and four was reunited with her parents after she was found wandering a local Sobey’s by herself.
