Toronto Police seek help identifying North York break-and-enter suspect

Toronto police have released security camera footage of a man wanted in a rash of break-ins in North York.

Police said a man broke into several homes with insecure doors in the Bayview and Finch avenues area early Thursday, Sept. 1.

The man is 20 to 30 years old with a medium build and a goatee. He wore a baseball hat, a grey hoodie with “Nike” on the front, long grey athletic-type shorts and dark running shoes.

Area residents are urged to keep their exterior light on after dark, ensure all their windows and doors are secured and locked and keep their alarms and video surveillance equipment on.

Police are also asking residents to report any suspicious vehicles or people.

Anyone with information is asked to call 33 Division at 416-808-3300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
